TERMS OF SERVICE FOR TUKO CAR RENTAL
Welcome to Tuko Car Rental, a car rental service provider in the Philippines. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Rental Agreement: Tuko Car Rental provides rental cars to customers based on a Rental Agreement that must be signed by the renter before renting the vehicle. The Rental Agreement contains the terms and conditions of the rental, including the rental period, rental fee, and the responsibilities of the renter.
2. Driver's License: The renter must have a valid driver's license that is recognized in the Philippines to rent a vehicle from Tuko Car Rental. The driver's license must be presented at the time of rental and must be valid for the entire rental period.
3. Rental Period: The rental period is specified in the Rental Agreement. If the renter wishes to extend the rental period, the renter must obtain prior approval from Tuko Car Rental and pay the additional rental fees.
4. Rental Fee: The renter agrees to pay the rental fee as specified in the Rental Agreement. The rental fee includes the cost of the vehicle rental and any additional services requested by the renter.
5. Payment: The renter must pay the rental fee and any additional charges using a credit card or other approved payment method. Tuko Car Rental reserves the right to charge the renter for any damages or fees that may arise during the rental period.
6. Vehicle Condition: The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as it was rented, except for normal wear and tear. The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including damage caused by the renter's negligence.
7. Liability: The renter is liable for any damages or injuries caused by the use of the rented vehicle. Tuko Car Rental is not responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from the renter's use of the rented vehicle.
8. Prohibited Use: The renter must not use the rented vehicle for any illegal purposes or in any way that violates the law. The renter must not allow anyone else to drive the rented vehicle, except for an authorized driver listed in the Rental Agreement.
9. Insurance: Tuko Car Rental provides basic insurance coverage for the rented vehicle. The renter may purchase additional insurance coverage at an additional cost.
10. Cancellation Policy: The renter may cancel the rental reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time without penalty. If the renter cancels the reservation less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the renter will be charged a cancellation fee.
11. Governing Law: These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Philippines.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Tuko Car Rental reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Service periodically for changes.
